Tom Brady had concussion last year, his wife Gisele Bundchen says. In fact she said...

“He has concussions pretty much every… I mean we don’t talk about it. But he has concussions and I don’t really think it’s a healthy thing for your body to go through."

A review of 2016 injury reports by USA TODAY Sports shows Brady was never listed with a concussion. He was listed, at various points during the season, with knee, ankle, and thigh issues at various points.

The Patriots said in an email Wednesday morning they did not expect to have a comment on the situation.

The 39-year-old NFL MVP has also not been on New England’s injury report for a concussion the past four seasons. He hasn’t missed a game due to injury since 2008, when he sat out 15 games because of a torn ACL and MCL.

So either Gisele is lying or the Patriots are lying.

The first question is . . . how does she KNOW he had concussions? Tom
told her? Maybe he said that to keep from going out. Medical report?
That means NE violated league policy. Her opinion? I certainly don't
know. From the "we don't talk about it," it COULD be her conclusion for
what she saw. And she's not medical. Is she?

Are you saying that she wouldn't know if he was walking around with a
1000 yard stare?

Doesn't matter if he met the standard for being held out... I don't
recall him even being "in the protocol." Do you?

What's next? Cheating?

I see two general possibilities.
A) Tom comes home lays down a medical report stating he has a concussion
or he TELLS his wife he has a concussion.
B) She see evidence, by his actions, he APPEARS to have a concussion. I
don't think she's legally qualified to make the diagnosis.

I see one obvious possibility here... Gisele, who lives with Tom, sees that he is acting weird and maybe not entirely alert. She KNOWS that he took significant hits that day or the day before. She decides that he has "had his bell rung." No medical degree or certificate required.

Meanwhile, Brady was never even in the official "concussion protocol."

If you recall, the Dolphins took significant heat after allowing Matt Moore to return to a game following what was clearly a vicious head shot during a game against the Steelers.

I say this is evidence of malfeasance by the Patriots. Would THAT surprise anyone?

Agree with all that. But sufficient evidence to convince experts (or
the NFL)? I don't think so. Like a lot of cases . . . I think the
suspect is guilty, but the evidence doesn't support it. I'm certain Tom
has had concussions, but Gisele doesn't have legal credence.

Well, I guess that's the tip of the iceberg, isn't it? Who knows how
many cell phones Tom would have to trash to cover this one up?

Not to worry. The NFL is apparently investigating the possibility. You can expect an official news conference soon where Gisele, Tom and probably the family lawyer, show up to "walk back" Gisele's comments.

“We have reviewed all reports relating to Tom Brady from the unaffiliated neurotrauma consultants and certified athletic trainer spotters who worked at Patriots' home and away 2016 season games as well as club injury reports that were sent to the league office,” the NFL said in a statement.

“There are no records that indicate that Mr. Brady suffered a head injury or concussion, or exhibited or complained of concussion symptoms. Today we have been in contact with the NFLPA and will work together to gather more information from the club's medical staff and Mr. Brady. The health and safety of our players is our foremost priority and we want to ensure that all our players have and continue to receive the best care possible.”

Last time Brady was caught in a mess, he threw his cell phone against a wall to destroy it. This time he will throw his wife under the bus.

You mad bro?

The Patriots are like your worst nightmare that just won't go away. Night after night, season after season, the nightmare continues. And just when you think you have the team to beat the Patriots? They crush your dreams and even when the Superbowl seemed won by Atlanta, giving you SOME degree of joy, NO! The nightmare continues.

And there's no end in sight with Garapolo just waiting his turn.

Will the nightmare continue for euph, will he try to find another weak ass ploy to beat the Patriots off the field by bogus stories? Or will he just continue to find excuses for the dolphins losing?

You paranoid, bro?

Why would you say that I would have to find a "ploy" to beat the Patriots? All you see here are the facts as reported. Gisele said what she said. The appearance is that the Patriots are (again) cheating on the rules established by the league. Says a lot about you that you see this as a "ploy."

Don't lose your cool or they'll come to get you.

Not real snappy there Seinfeld. Try dealing with the actual question.
Let's see if Roger still has wood for Brady and wants to make an
investigation out of this little revelation. After all, this simply
flies in the face of one of the NFL's most sensitive issues... your
franchise QB, the face of the Patriots, is apparently not playing by the
rules again. Oh, there's a surprise.

But this isn't significant like the possible deflation of footballs...
I'm sure Roger will laugh this off.

And as you dolphin fans are busy checking Brady for a concussion and chastising Godell for not suspending him again, the Patriots and their fans are getting prepared for Superbowl 52.

But look on the bright side... You still have your hate

If my posts were about hate, I'd be over in the Patriots NG spewing. Dolphins fans are generally interested in hearing the news about the other AFCE teams, so the stories about Brady obviously are going to be posted here.

In all seriousness, your flippant attitude about Brady's likely concussions is sort of pathetic. We all know he's a competitive guy and will avoid the concussion protocol if allowed to do so. The reason the NFL has made it mandatory is because everybody knows that players won't self report - even if they realize they are dazed or concussed. I'm sure most veterans will confess to having played with concussions.

Dolphins fans are not uniform in their opinions, but I think most were upset by the recent news about Buoniconti and Kiick. I find it hard to imagine that even an ass wipe like you would dismiss the danger to Brady as unimportant in hopes that he continues to deliver wins for your team. Obviously the guy is going to be a "legend" when he retires.... it won't be a pretty picture if he's unable to speak or dress himself.

You go ahead and make this about the Dolphins fans. Your probably pretty much senile anyway.

Not senile enough to fail to use proper grammar while chastising another about senility.
