Looking over the last 3-4 days, it seems it's you an me here.
I was not too interested in the Garrard situation. I suspected it would
be him or Sanchez as starting QB - I would have been happy with either.
Geno? I'd like to see a WV do well, but we'll see.

Maybe the Jets can sign this Tebow kid that's looking for a QB job?

I try to check in every now and then but until Mike Wallace breaks a leg or
something, the excitement level is low. Possibly getting to see the Hall of
Fame fiasco will get the blood boiling.

This lull is gonna last until closer to training camp.

It's a "no news is good news" kinda thing, IMO.

There will always be signed/acquired/released news. Maybe only camp
fodder or long shots but there will be a little news. And we'll have
the in-person blogs about daily practices. Throw in the possibilities
of arrest or (better) the possibilities of finding another Zach Thomas
and there might even be something significant. In the meantime, this is
all we have.

You know, there may be a lot I don't know about Garrard and his reasons for quitting, but one look at what the Jets are doing would make a QB with brains head straight for the exit.

Recall that they spent a draft pick on Tebow and then basically destroyed his reputation. The constant locker room leaks of "no confidence" votes from anonymous players regarding their QB's is professionally embarrassing. I would give David high marks on the intelligence of getting out of Rexland. This is like at the horror movies when the entire audience is screaming "Don't go in there you idiot!"

He basically called it quits because his injury wouldn't heal.

I will give him credit for being smart.
