The writer lists sub-.500 teams that have a shot at the playoffs.
Below is the snip on Miami (the Chiefs? Really?)

The Dolphins re-tooled their offense in free agency, then traded up in
the first round to land a potential franchise cornerstone in defensive

Seems reasonable to me. It's all an attempt to project and you can choose a flat, negative or positive slope. I think things are looking up. If Tannehill regresses or has a sophmore slump then we're screwed. The picture looks good from here. I think the Dolphins should be #2 in the AFCE and they should threaten the Pats. Will they? Hmmm.
