who told him this week, "Everyone on the team likes Mark personally, but
there's a general feeling among some of the players that maybe it's time
to give someone else a chance."

As always, I am delighted with any bad news, alleged bad news, bad karma, bad smells or just bad feelings emanating from the vicinity of the Jets. Given that this is OTA time and things are generally rather meaningless right through the ides of August, I'm not going to celebrate too much over this report. It is exactly what I would expect... the backstabbing that has been the hallmark of the Jetsies organization since Rex took over is apparently going to continue and that alone thrills me to the bone. Just how bad is Sanchez? Well, he's trying to grow in toxic soil. The Jets seem to do this to all their QB's.

I certainly hope that nothing like this happens in Miami. If Tannehill tosses three INT's in an OTA or even in an actual practice, I certainly hope it won't result in some player doing a Nancy Grace on him with a Miami beat reporter.
Mark Sanchez is going to start with the spasmodic, involuntary twitching real soon.
I think Rex Ryan may be running the worst, most paranoid coaching staff ever... the public hangings and under-bus tosses are just ugly, uh, make that bee-yoo-tee-full, to see

beaten by Smith, who knows how he'll do. May be better off with Sanchez
playing well enough to keep his job and suck through regular season.

Smith is ONE bad game away from being eaten alive by the NY press, fans, his teammates and probably coaches. As an anti-fan of the clowns in NJ I can't wait!!
Sanchez sucks and Geno is too immature, inexperienced and thin skinnd to handle a bad game this early in his "career".
This is truly a win win situation. It's going to be fun watching the Jets implode again.

happen. In the Jetsies environment he should fare no better than any of
their QB's. Long odds against Smith being successful.
