(AP - New York City) NBC has announced a sequel to the popular program "I'm
a Celebrity, Get Me Outta Here! The program took place in a jungle setting
complete with creepy creatures, slimy situations, and the stress of living
in a jungle camp with the other competitors.
The runup to that program included controversy over the presence of certain
contestants. Former IL Governor Rod Blagoyevich was invited to appear, but
was denied permission by the judge presiding over his impending criminal
trial. Nevertheless, his wife participated on the program which took place
in jungle setting.
The sequel reportedly will take place in a northern dairy farm setting where
contestants are required to perform various unpleasant tasks related to
animal husbandry and the production of eggs, butter and cheese, while living
in a barn.
The producers of the new show, entitled "I'm a Drama Queen, Look At ME!"
have reportedly offered NFL star Brett Favre a spot on the program as a
contestant. However, unnamed sources claim that Favre has demanded that he
be the host of the show, or else he will not appear. Another unconfirmed
report has the football star insisting on a site in Mississippi which
includes hogs and mud, but no cheese.
He is also apparently insisting on being allowed to approve the list of
other contestants, which is said to include Paris Hilton, Brittney Spears,
SC Governor , Flavor Flav, Bristol Palin, Rep. Barney Frank, Glen Beck, and
The Ghost Formerly Known As Michael Jackson.
A decision on his role is expected shortly, but NBC executives are said to
be miffed over what they considered to be a disrespectful response to their
invitiation.
Horrible
I hope Ryan Leaf makes bail so he can play too...
I knew I should have consulted you before I let that one rip.
Plus, I forgot to put the SC Governor's name in, I couldn't remember his
first name so I went to look it up and got occupied with something else and
forgot about it.
I guess that gave away the fact that the whole post was just a hoax... drat.
Foiled again.

Speaking of hoaxes, one of the greatest on record here was when Post
writer (then the RMN) Woody Paige did an April Fool's column back in
about 1981-2 that Charley Finley had decided to move the A's to Denver
and call the the Denver Aspens.
Bad Woody....
LOL! The thing about it was that he couldn't have picked a better team and
owner to be the subject of the hoax, because Charles O. Finley was capable
of just about anything. I'm sure people bit on that one hook line and
sinker. And who else would get a mule for a team mascot that ran around the
stadium every time someone hit a home run, and then name the damned thing
Charley O? I don't know if the mule stayed with the team after he moved the
As to Oakland but he sure made an ass of himself in KC! ;-)

Sure, but aren't most reality shows?
If they weren't horrible, nobody would watch them. ;-)
Looks like McNair won't be playing either ;-(
Lol, truly inspired idiocy!
But he did give you guys the pennant porch and "KC" on the caps.
The white cleats were unforgivable however!
I'm digging "Ice Road Truckers".
A pennant to go along with it would have been nice... We had to wait a long
time for someone with both the vision and the resources to get that done in
KC. Thanks and RIP, Ewing Kaufman!

I have to admit that top posting isn't as bad as pages of quoting with
a bit added at the end. But considerate editing of the quoted
material and proof reading tells us that you think your message is
worth reading. And it isn't hard.

Someone rope you into that?
Jesus, your ability to not see the obvious must be legendary among those who
know you.
Clitarrior isn't the sharpest.
Your command of the obvious is only exceeded by your command of the
language.

You may be the master of understatement. I would explain the joke to him,
but explanations simply ruin humor.

Bad children. I try to share a little humor on the AFCW NGs (on topic, that
is, about football) and I look away for a minute, but when I come back it's
a fustercluck. And to think there are people in this world who actually
*want* to run daycare centers... ack!
Nappy time, everyone go lay down somewhere. Junior, quit trying to bury your
little brother in the yard. If you piss him off he might try to light your
blanket on fire again when you go to sleep.

Koom Bye Yawww....
Sooo.... anybody heard any good Michael Jackson jokes?
MBKC
And you ain't always the trolliest, try chum.
Your inability to command ANY thing so noted.
Au contraire my dearest Clitarrior. I post, you respond every time.
Cringioni, you confuse 'troll' with whack-a-mole ;-)
<whack!>
enjoy.
I love you! <kisses>
Get a room.

Will he make anyone forget Brandon's demands, will we get Dusty Dvoracek
and toss 'da Bears a full NFC championship roster?
etc...
Screwy question.
I used to spot irony very well, but I've gotten rusty.
Thanks, again, for making my point.

Second jail term (1959-1963)
By the end of the 1950s, Berry was an established star with several hit
records and film appearances to his name, as well as a lucrative touring
career. He had also established his own St. Louis-based nightclub,
called Berry's Club Bandstand. It was an integrated venue catering to
black and white customers. Berry, a shrewd businessman, even considered
opening an Amusement park, according to Allmusic.com.
But in December 1959, Berry encountered legal problems after he invited
a 14-year-old Apache waitress whom he met in Mexico to work as a hat
check girl at his club. After being fired from the club, the girl was
arrested on a prostitution charge and Berry was arrested under the Mann
Act. After a trial and retrial, Berry was convicted, fined $5,000, and
sentenced to five years in prison. This event, coupled with other early
rock and roll scandals such as Jerry Lee Lewis' marriage to his
13-year-old cousin and Alan Freed's payola conviction, gave rock and
roll an image problem that limited its acceptance into mainstream U.S.
society.
Third jail term, White House performance and final studio album (1979)
Berry's type of touring style, traveling the "oldies" circuit in the
1970s where he was often paid in cash by local promoters added
ammunition to the Internal Revenue Service's accusations that Berry was
a chronic income tax evader. Facing criminal sanction for the third
time, Berry pleaded guilty to tax evasion and was sentenced to four
months imprisonment and 1,000 hours of community service doing benefit
concerts in 1979.
At the request of Jimmy Carter, Chuck Berry performed at The White House
on June 1, 1979. [15] Also in 1979, Berry released Rockit for Atco
Records, his last studio album to date.
And THIS imperfect man could _always_ rock!

The drama queen finally retired for real.
At least for this year. I would not be surprised to see another soap
opera next year, however.
I wouldn't be surprised to see another one next week.
