Chiefs Sign WR Quinten Lawrence, Release WR Mark Bradley

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Tuesday that the club has signed WR
Quinten Lawrence to the 53-man roster.
Lawrence (6-0, 184) was a sixth-round pick (175th overall) of the Chiefs
in the 2009 NFL Draft. He has played in four games for Kansas City in
2009 and has been on the practice squad for three games. He has 12
kickoff returns for 237 yards, one carry for 16 yards and a nine-yard
reception. The Carencro, Louisiana native played in 37 games (32 starts)
at McNeese State, catching 99 passes for 1,905 yards (19.2 avg.) with 15
TDs. He also returned 22 kickoffs for 419 yards (18.9 avg.) and
registered a 70-yard punt return TD.
The Chiefs released WR Mark Bradley on Tuesday. Bradley played in 13
games (six starts) for the Chiefs in 2009, catching 24 passes for 320
yards with two TDs. He also had two carries for 20 yards and seven
kickoff returns for 123 yards. He joined the Chiefs as a free agent in 2008.
