* The TEs were MIA, and with the run game unable to get consistent 1st
downs that is worrisome. Graham gets one short dump pass and Sheffler is
nowhere to be found.
* Orton still has a rag arm, the INT in the end zone was dumb.
* The loss of McBath will hurt, Vernon Fox likely won't be any more help
than Ty Law has been(Marty was right - he's washed).
* Kreiger was all over the Hillis dog house, is McD smart enough to use
a big back on 3rd downs? I do not think the Jordan signing has done a
thing for the running game.
* The D line missed out on getting any pass deflections, arms were not
up, pressure was ineffective. In a losing effort last night the Cards
Darnell Dockett got a pick and a deflection, why can't we get Ayers to
go up like that?
* We can not go 0-3 on 4th downs, very troubling stat.
* Much as Arizona gave SF momentum at home, so did we with Indy.
* Anyone care to gift wrap the playoffs for Donovan after the Sunday
night game? Apparently they can do it without a ground game, unlike our
guys.

That was my big complaint about the game. Orton was locked onto one
receiver. He might say it worked, but we didn't win.
Our tight ends are both fine receivers, but I have to admit that they
need to look like they're going to block on possible running plays.

How about this. We try a 1 yard run and fail. We remove the small
back and stick in the large back. The defense keys on him, and we
toss it to Graham.

I know Quinn is on special teams, he was supposed to be a great blocker.
Why not fold him in the 2 TE sets and make Sheffle rmore of an H-back?
And then start using him!

Oh yes, makes perfect sense.Decoying is always good.
I also know that Orton has moderately good wheels, would some bootleg
action be possible too?

McDanny was asked why they didn't use Hillis as RB in the short yardage and he
had a decent reply: With Larson hurt, they needed Hillis at FB. The bro' had
this response: So why not use Graham as the FB? Or one of the OL-men? Done it
before.

I like the idea, I also think we can be successful in a one back set but
only if the OL schemes can reflect more of the trap blocking we used to
be famous for.
I get that McD wants a bigger line, so maybe this isn't the best time to
try and implement a pure power running game.
We do have options, let's see them.
I predict some gadget plays will return today against the Faiders, maybe
even the wild horses formation. Go Broncos!
