Personally, I hope that the Cowboys will go 14-2 and win the
superbowl. Doing that undefeated thing is DRAINING mentally for the
players and it COSTS. The fins can keep their undefeated record, I'd
rather see the Cowboys become the first team with 6 Lombardi trophies.

Reference the last game of the regular season in
which the New York Giants and New England
Patriots went all out to win. Both teams ended
up in the Super Bowl. The teams that put forth
half-hearted efforts to win the last game? They
all got booted from the playoffs.
Lesson? Going all out to win that last game is
the way to build confidence for the playoffs, and
half-hearted efforts and trips to Cabo tend to yield
sub-par playoff results.
Surely, if any team/head coach/GM/owner other
than those on the Giants and Patriots have learned
that lesson, it's the Dallas Cowboys/Wade Phillips/
Jerry Jones that won't make that mistake again.

The point was, "gotta crawl before you walk," and to that end yeah they do
have something to do with one another.
The team could score from anywhere last season too, and NEEDED to in several
wins (the Buffalo game stands out in that regard). Also SHOULD have in at
least four other games... the ones they should not have lost, but did.
Look, I'd be downright giddy if they did not lose a game, but I just don't
see that happening. Just in the division alone, we face the Super Bowl
champion twice, the Eagles again and two games with the Redskins. When any
of those three teams meet the Cowboys (or vice versa, for that matter),
records or relative talent do NOT matter.
Plus, we've got Green Bay there next, and while we're all salivating that
Bret Favre never won a game in Texas Stadium, one does have to remember that
Dallas has never won a game at Lambeau... and that early in the year, Aaron
Rogers seems to be playing pretty well. I think Dallas can win in Green Bay,
but it's surely not a given.

Right.... it's all the Cabo trip... nothing about Brady lighting up the NYC
nightlife before his games... nothing about the head coach TELLING players
to take a few days in the extra week to get their minds off football...
nothing about the OTHER trips taken by players... just the Cabo trip.
At the end of that very game, the illiterate quarterback who blew off his
team to take a trip to Cabo was still somehow putting his team into a
position where they had a chance to win that game.
Might a little blame fall on his Pro Bowl tight end, Jason Witten, because
he and his wife were in Cabo with him. How 'bout the players who flew off to
Vegas?
Or how about going all out two games from the end of the season and seeing
TO get hurt and having him only about 75% effective for the playoffs.
Better yet, plan to not have the off day that everybody has in a playoff

After training camp, pre-season and sixteen games, if a team does not know
what it's supposed to do in a playoff game, it NEVER WILL know.

For the most part, the only ones who can stop the Cowboys are the
Cowboys. It's evident that this could be the most explosive offense
that this organization has ever fielded. Penalties have to finally and
seriously be addressed though, they are still a large problem. I don't
think this team will go undefeated though and really I hope that they
don't even think about that shit. One or 2 losses is actually better
IMO, like I said earlier , trying to go undefeated stresses the shit
out of a team and could burn it out. The pats may have experienced
that as well.
