It's hard to figure out the perception of the strength of this Bears
team.

Much of it has to do with gambling. Look, we're all big boys and
girls and we know how much influence gambling has on the game and
what's written and aired about it.

The newspaper and radio monkeys have been slapping their peckers over
this team all year. Sometimes they get the GO signal and the next
week they get the RED light. It's making them crazy and broke.

Let's just look at what is going on in the Chicago Sun-Times after the
Chicago Bears go 13-2.

JAY MARIOTTI - THE FIRST WORD

"QB switch a head-scratch"
Why? A meaningless game. Rex had a solid game and its time for the
reserves. What's so confusing. Are the Bears playing the Lions in
the Super Bowl?

BRAD BRIGGS - RECAP

"Not much to cheer about"
13-2, not much to cheer about?
What in the Hell are you talking about?
Biggs has long been known to be a "sensible" buy and usually is in to
the house for whopper.

MIKE MULLIGAN - THE NFL

"How can regular season seal the deal?"
Now Mulligan is more sensible. He is asking about the Coatches
contract and security. DO you the think these coatches think about
any of that? What can they do about it? Now yer getting it.

BRAD BRIGGS - staff reporter

"Griese doesn't miss a beat"
So what. Bradd what did Griese do that Grossman didn't? Why wouldn't
you write that Griese Proved Backup Position is Solid? Because you're
Boss said to create slack in the line? Now you're getting it.

MIKE MULLIGAN - staff reporter

"Bears defense about struggling D"
Again Mully is more logical than the Sun-Times histerical headline.
Mully just expresses concern over red zone problems. But still serves
up what his masters put in from of him.

Don't beleive any of this shit for a second. San Diego? Tony Romo?
Come on guys do the math! Your being played. Be the house on the
Bears.
