filling time with original programming thats all. Plus helping out
another product in the proces. It's an everybody wins but nobody cares
scenario.

packages as well like in the past? I know that it's somewhat
commonplace for even smaller leagues to have them now, but since it's
starting over here, just wondering if they'll be having any.

broadcasts look like. There was once a team here, the Los Angeles
Avengers, and I was a fan of that team. I even attended some of their
games in person. Unfortunately, even if the original AFL had been
saved, the Avengers would not have been part of it.

My guess for announcers:
*Booth: Derrin Horton, Tom Waddle
*Sideline: Stacey Dales

This is Iowa Barnstormers, Version 3.5. Version 1 was original Warner-
era AFL, 2 was the first AF2 team after Jim Foster sold the AFL team
to New York, and version 3.0 started 2 years ago when a new ownership
group bought the franchise from Foster.

I would have liked to have seen Grand Rapids come back, they were the
one michigan based team left in the league. They're a few hours away
from where I am, but would have been neat to have been able to go see
a game if I ever could have done it.

When I saw that Alabama has a team, that was my thought. But if CSS
broadcasts Atlanta Braves Peachtree TV games again in 2010, if/when
the two teams are scheduled at the same time, the Braves will take
precedence. Unless the AFL games are shown just in Alabama, which
would probably irritate Braves fans there.

I want to say FSOhio did a few Cleveland Gladiators games two years
ago. After the Cavs are over, FSOhio has virtually nothing to show in
the northern half of the state.

KAZT-TV Channel 7 Prescott/Phoenix will be carrying 8 Arizona
Rattlers' games this season.

Also, the league is now called the Arena Football League again,
instead of AF1, effective today.

As an Iowan, and as someone who knows the history of Arena Football, I
think the first TV game being the Barnstormers is fitting. The game
was conceived by an Iowan, and the most famous AFL alum is former
Barnstormers QB Kurt Warner.

Comcast Chicago is availalbe across all of Iowa via satellite and and
on cable systems, Comcast Chicago is the primary RSN in Eastern Iowa,
from Des Moines west and south, it's FSN Midwest and from Highway 20
to the north, it's FSN North.

As a DirecTV subscriber, I would perfer Iowa Barnstormer games on
either FSN Midwest or Comcast Chicago.

I realize that when the Barnstormers were AF2, they had a contract
with Mediacom to air home games on it's Connections Channel. I wonder
with at least 4 Barnstormer games on The NFL Network if this will
force Mediacom's hand in adding NFL Network to it's digital package.
