Ron noticed how Oklahoma State relays their play calling via a poster
board throughout the game. However, they kept showing the same poster
board numerous times but it made no sense since each play were vastly
different. Regardless, I think I got BINGO on O-3. LOL.

I think I figured out this board. There are six different items.
Each item has an edge of the board. That means you can hold the board
on any of the six spots:

6 spots, how many combinations can the sign be held?

6² = Combinations

Combinations = 279936

I think my math is right on that..??..

I wish I could edit this. Oh well... We are not looking for six
total ways the card can be read. We are looking for:
6 possible choices with two combinations (since a normal human has two
hands). So the card can be held 15 different ways. Assuming it is
not held where the corner of two choices meet.

After relooking at the sign, there might be nine different
combinations. 0-3 looks like one choice, but 0 and 3 could be
independent choices too. Either way.. I am pretty sure held
combinations is how they do that.

Who really knows what they are trying to relay w/ that? I mean, it
could be about 30 different thing:
- hand position
- height of sign
- who is holding it

etc etc.

Heck, think about this - maybe the sign is only part of the signal.
And you actually have to receive visual cues from someone on the
sideline. IE, look at that coach holding up 1 finger, what does that
signify in relation to the sign? Maybe he is signaling who has the
actual play on the sign. Maybe the sign is a read herring.

Given that this sign is in plain view, whatever it says has to be well
encoded, and from what I mentioned, it probably is.
