When Drew Barker spurned a Hall of Fame caliber coach and rising Southeastern Conference football program to stay home and play for Kentucky it set off a wild celebration inside the coaches' offices at Nutter Training Facility.
Kentucky is on the move, something Mark Stoops and his staff believe is the future reality and not just a blip on the radar.
“I didn't know Coach Stoops said Kentucky is a sleeping giant, but I've said that myself,” tight ends coach Vince Marrow said. “This is a sleeping giant. This is the tip of the iceberg.”
