Dominance in Eugene. Nobody thought it possible, but you'd better
believe it; things are changing now, baybee. The buzz is everywhere, as
everyone is talking about the new sherrif in town, and things are gonna be
different from here on out.
No, I aint talking about Oregon pasting SC, this is way more
important; I'm talking about FSGP. Not only has the season lead been taken
over by Eric, but far more importantly (well, to me) was this week's
winner:
Me. I went 4-0, and ran up 192 points for a score of 27.43 . My best
score was 34 for OSU-UCLA, and this win takes me to 7th place on the
season. Being as you have the season lead and all Eric, I'll let all the
empties on the floor of the limo from last week slide; but seriously,
trying that in a moving vehicle; with 5 girls, 3 goats and wearing THAT?!?
Man, those windows are hard to replace.

I'm thinking why not stop the season right now? I think I was 13th
overall 3 weeks ago but have had two very good weeks so just about
everybody has a good shot at winning the whole thing.

Wait a minute, I only picked three games. You are counting my Usc loss
twice:)

Ah - you're right. The whole thing is automated, and automatically
calculates everything based on picking a full week's schedule. (hence the
"must pick all games" rule).
Tell ya what Jack, since you are an "original" prognosticator and
great guy, this one time I'll let it slide and remove the ND-WSU game from
your season score. (the weekly will have to stay as is to be fair, but it
didn't affect much anyways).

Never take me to Vegas... I could pick a winner, but I couldn't pick a
score to save my life :(

John,
This is my first go with FSGP, and the fact that I'm sitting in 6th
for the season is nothing short of miraculous. I'm much more of a
round-ball fan. Lump my standing into the broken clock/blind squirrel
bucket. I'll nose-dive by the end of the season.

Same here for the most part. I do OK here. I do OK in the CFPOOL
which is just picking winners. I the Yahoo Pick Em group I'm in (which
is picked against the point spread), I'm about 30 games under .500.
It's so bad that I made all my picks for last weekend then
deliberately changed 3/4 of them on the theory that I was probably
wrong. It didn't help.

Clearly, the path to success in FSGP is to not use me as a sounding
board... :)

Your method is better than mine... :) Besides, if you do nosedive,
you'll have me to bounce off of (dead last isn't something done easily,
I had to really pull together my reserve of suckitude :)

You have the best won-loss record in the group, which is the true test
of prognosticating skill. Picking accurate scores is pure chance, and
only the very lucky do well.
