The Bcs will pick Oregon for the championship (fairness be damned,
this is about money.)

Arizona prances with roses in their mouths.

You're insane, but regardless... fucking kickers... Tex didn't move the
ball all night, if you're the Nebraska kicker, how in the hell do you
kick the ball out of bounds on the kickoff?

that last couple downs were one of the most moronic examples of late
game management I have ever seen. Say he completes the pass; unless the
receiver fell down and they call time out IMMEDIATELY, they coulda lost.
Receiver struggles, or is even held up by defender for one stinking
second, they lose. If McCoy gets pressured before leaving the tackle box
(which was happening all night) and then avoids it, he either runs out the
clock or grounds the ball.
unreal.

I agree. It was funny to listen to McCoy talk about that play after the
game: "oh, i knew exactly how much time was on the clock." If that was
indeed the case, the play was even dumber than it appeared. Even if he
was throwing it away (and he didn't exactly put that ball in the stands
or anything), if a defender tips it or even a receiver gets a hand on
it, that clock is all zeroes and the Longhorns are playing in the Fiesta
Bowl or something...

I saw rooting for Nebraska so much last night. I'm a big fan of BCS
chaos, and that's what really lost last night. Damn it. BTW, Montana
won its playoff game again 51-0. Go Griz! Heh heh....1-AA baby....

The last pass went out of bounds and the official blew the play dead with
0:00 left on the clock. The replay officials put one second back on the
clock which means they ignored when the whistle blew on the field.

Some of the replay rules are screwy. I guess the replay rule is the clock
stops when a pass crosses the sideline boundary not when the ball hits the
ground out of bounds and the play is blown dead.

They even got a vote in the AP poll. As many as Georgia, 7 less
points than USC, 6 less than Okylahoma. (teams in the top 10 get around
1000 points, meaning 6 aint that far off).
There are 4 Pac teams in there, 5 teams from non-BCS conferences. USC
and Okylahoma aint.
Strange year.

Apparantly, they can review anything that has to do with BCS
implicati ^H^H^H^H^H I mean clock/time issues. (which makes me wonder, can
they go back a few plays, and see perhaps where a second was cut short? I
mean, if we're gonna get it right, let's get it right for the whole game,
not just the last 30 seconds, and not just put time on, but take it off;
but that's just me).
I actually thought it wasn't a terrible reversal, there did seem to
be a second left when the ball hit the ground. My issue was, why did Tejas
let it get so close; that was idiotic, but ce la vie.
