It is the hottest ticket in college football and the most expensive.
New data from online broker Ticketcity shows that tickets for the Ohio
State University versus University of Southern California game are
getting more than twice the average price.
The Sept. 12 game in Columbus is the most sought-after ticket for the
upcoming college football season with an average sale price of $840
and a starting price of $350.
Those are some of the highest ticket prices in college football
history.

Actually, my family from CA started asking around for tickets to this
game, and they've proved remarkably easy to come by. Apparently a
large part of the senior citizen contingent at the horseshoe aren't
too keen on going to night games.

ummm....tickets to the uga-bama game last year between the hedges were
selling for more than that.....

must be a lot of fools there
eh......any uga game in athens against a "name" opponent always
commands top dollar, but what made the alabama situation unique is
that say...unlike LSU, bama is much more within easy driving
distance...and of course bama fans are insanely passionate.....so you
had bama fans competing with uga people w/out season tickets in the
black market, and that drove up price a lot.

Yeah, they really need a nickname for that game. The "asylum v.
fools" game or somesuch.
The "Broker Bowl"?
The "Dumbass Fan Bowl"?
really. If they're rich enough to afford it they don't need to
"haggle" for it...obviously some unbelievable fools and suckers
there.
Florida alums are buying all the tickets, mortgaging their trailers to
do so, in order to make it an empty stadium for Tebow to steal the
show in.
