Well done, Fred! But to the other eight or so of you who replied, how
hard is it to follow directions so that we can get a post tree going
where all the lists already have the people who've been here.

1. Dave Zero - Pasadena
2. Fred - Simi Valley
3. Blazer Fan Dan - Stumptown
4. Alson Wong - Rancho Cucamonga

Okay, all tidied up for you - see, I bitch, but I put in time fixing it
the way I want. So reply here, delete this pararaph, take the next
available number, and add yourself to the list.
Figuring that more people will just hit Reply to the original post, not
see any of this, but I'll keep this part of the thread maintained
manually to give us our ever-growing list.

Just got back from the Oregon coast, though not your
neck of the woods (Cannon Beach, Seaside, Astoria).
BTW, I'm in south Orange County.

Dave, USENET is asynchronous, not synchronous. It is improbable
that the "directions" can be followed.
Same here.

So I'm bozak and Jack Straw too? So I'm Asian? Man, this is
confusing. I just hope I'm nowhere near Katrina right now.

rmjon23:
I went to Glendora High...Well, "went" must be thought of in the
loosest way. I showed up there every now and then, but only 'cuz the
girls were so gorgeous. I "grew up" (again: "loose" = keyword) in
Glendora, too. About eight years after I graduated Tracy Murray came in
and made the school a basketball powerhouse. Then that other kid (who's
on the Suns now? a white guy-guard, name escapes me) played for
Glendora too. But I was born not too far from Dave Zero: at Huntington
Memorial. But I've digressed...Yea, verily, that smog will probably
catch up to me in a few years, if it hasn't already, viz. the addled
brain that produced an idiotic post like this!
Hey Jeff: didn't the Giambi bros play for Los Altos? Or was it South
Hills? One of those baseball schools. Probably before your time...

I used to live there, on Riverside Drive, between Los Feliz and Hyperion.
as did i. i lived on Tracy St. between Hyperion & St. George. i went
to King Jr. High and Marshall High. great neighborhood. left the area
in 1976...parents bought a home in Eagle Rock, another nice area.
Exact-a-mundo!
It's still a pretty nice area. Been here for 4 years or so.
i drive through there often. i believe it will always remain a nice
neighborhood. i've seen other nice neighborhoods go down the drain and
turn real bad, but not that neighborhood. i would love to live there
again.
