Did you see John Boner on TV yesterday screaming that the House
healthcare bill was "the greatest threat to freedom I've ever seen" only
to then go and vote on an extension of the Patriot Act that would
continue to allow "Big Brother" to spy on US citizens without judicial
oversight?

Why is that repubes keep screaming that the government can't run
anything except domestic spying operations?

Actually, their numbers are decreasing. Right off the top of my head I
can think of half a dozen conservative friends of mine who are moving
further and further away from the nuttiness of the right. Prime example
is my friend in Nevada who is a surgeon and thought George W. Bush was
the greatest thing since sliced bread back in 2000 and right now
actually supports the healthcare reform bill that passed the house last
night.
