time". What separates Phillup from all other coaches is the trust he

trouble or injury will he pull a player out of his rotation. Players
respond to this trust and buy into his schemes..and of course a team
that plays as a team will at some level be successful which reflects
Phil's won/loss record..which obviously for the large part has been
very successful. As quirky as Phillup may seem, I think his
personality is perfect for the profession he has chosen and when his
career is over he will be considered as the most successful coach in
NBA history.
