Is Allen Iverson's career in Memphis over after just three games?
On Saturday, Iverson was granted permission to leave the the Grizzlies
to deal with a personal matter a Grizzlies spokesperson confirmed.
The question is, will he be back?

Is history repeating itself? If it is, one GM was ready to write AI's
NBA eulogy: "He's finished in the NBA. He can go hang out with Stephon
Marbury."
Wow. Just...wow. I didn't think it would've happened this soon.
I don't know what "the answer" is, but I still think he can contribute
in the NBA. If not, what a ignominious fizzle to the end of a dazzling
career.
Hey: you know who he can help? GSW. Now THAT is one fucked-up team.
Can't hurt...
I think his career is done. Seriously, who is gonna want him? His
attitude has finally, really kicked him out of the NBA.

The amazing thing is that it took 10 years to happen. Guy was a cancer
from day 1.

Indeed, I'm not sure he's done there but you have to think if they dump
him early his NBA career is over, no? Just can't imagine anybody else
taking a shot after he did not take to bench play in two stops.

And this appears to be A.I.'s biggest problem. No team is going to want him
as a starter unless that teams has so many injuries in the backcourt that
they are just desparate. Allen has shown that he puts his personal wishes
ahead of the team's needs. This is the classic example of what a loser
"loser" is in athletics.
I disagree that Iverson would help Golden State. But on the other hand, only
a idiot like Don Nelson would risk A.I. contaminating some of their young
backcourt talent like Steph Curry. And Iverson is all offense and no "D",
just like Nelson likes them. So maybe he does ends up with Golden State
afterall.

BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH
Aw come on now - we know he's all heart - he thumps it often enough
to let us know. :)
contribute what??? practice???
Iverson is done, and he was done even before the season started. The
Jizzlies were on crack to even think Cryverson would be able to deal
with any situation that didn't involve him starting. They weren't paying
attention at all last year to his situation in Detroit???
