When (if?) we get the true story, then maybe some of you will see what
I meant last week or so when I said Ron-Ron will go off again. I'm not
a hater; the guy is clearly mentally ill. But it's probably something
closer to: he got fucked up on booze and fell down; got fucked up on
booze and/or something else and lost out in a fight; got clocked by a
girlfriend or (and/or?) wife with a blunt object...etc.
Not even 30 games into the season.
Hearsay? Or just say?
Lots and lots of stories in there.
you could be right...he didnt look happy on the bench at all during the
cleveland game...
That was my first thought when I first heard about it.
Do not put me in there. I just thought GWGs posts were funny and shared
them.
Carrying some boxes down stairs and falling sounds damn plausible to me.
I will take that as the real story and not jack up speculation over it.
Maybe take too many in one load instead of two trips, going too fast can
not see...
Do not worry, when/if Artest falls apart I expect as usual he does it
loudly and publicly.

A cynic is a man who, when he smells flowers, looks around for a coffin.

Too much eggnog?
Okay, sorry.
No need to apologize. My fault. I know I am tough about him and so it
was easy to assume. Especially with the funny posts I added from elsewhere.
But truly..even though I do not like what he has done in the past, nor
forgive violence easily, that does not mean I am looking at everything
Artest does for some validation "I told you so" thingy.
I hope for his sake, and his family's especially, that he does keep his
life together... that all the help he has received has his anger under
control. And I see that as nearly separate from his bi-polar. The anger
management so far since his Sac seems to have helped.
But family stuff please not... his kids have already seen him and their
mother in a fight spilled out to the neighborhood. And that had him
being hauled off by the cops and in jail a couple of weeks.
That is too much sadness already for them.
He is lucky. In Oregon domestic abuse with kids in the house would have
been an automatic felony with a minimum year or two.
So he gets off lightly (1 month 2 weeks suspended) but to a much better
chance of getting under control medically as well as the anger. The
league steps in automatically now to see they get help and stick with it
in any case of violence. A lot better than the parole system or being in
jail where their was little to no help and likely more trouble.
And I hope he does not, after his career in the structured world of
BBall, go into a down spiral like some before him we thought were high
entertainment...Bates, Rodman, Rider, Jayson Williams.....wonder how
Spree is doing...
So Please Ron you and your family have a great new year...
=======================
Now if he wants to blow up in a basketball sense that would be pretty
funny....
Of course, maybe he did fall down, Ron-Ron go boom, get bad injuries.
But: this is Artest we're talking about. If, say, it happened to
Shannon Brown or D-Fish I'd believe the official story. I am not so
sure with Ron-Ron, and I wonder if we'll ever know.
I think, Artest should sue Hennessy! (I am sure he will win the case!)
It must have been a really bad year!
Shame on Hennessy!
Like with tiger,is it really any of our business? Of course if one is
a pro gambler it is.
