1. We're no longer staring at the Lakers from behind and I think the players
may feel more confident or even sense a chance to catch the other 2 teams.
2. Barkley opened his loud mouth again and said Warriors can't make the
playoffs, which actually didn't sound all that stupid. But he's got a
history of trying to point out the obvious and getting back fired.
On a serious note who's got the tougher of the schedule
remaining?(GS,Houston,or Phoenix?)
I noticed that they have 2 long Eastern road series coming up but the
Warriors have fared fairly well against the Eastern teams this season.
If anything, the Warriors can control their own destiny as they've got a
game left against the Rockets and 2 against the Suns.

I looked at the upcoming week's schedule, and on a bit into the week after, and
Phoenix's schedule is just murder. If they can come out of this stretch still
on top of us, then they might have the upper hand. That's a big if though.

Don't they have two left against the Rockets? I could've sworn we were 1-1
against them.

Quality Opponents (10 for GS). FWIW Philly had the toughest (12 & 9) and
Detroit had the easiest (4 & 6). Neither Houston or Phoenix was listed -
they only listed the top and bottom five.

Hey, it's always easy to pick on a team with losing history and start
dogging them.
I agree with Brian's post about the Warriors probably having the toughest
schedule on paper, but remember, a lot of them are against the East, which
they've done well against.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like Barkley's comments are usually
put-downs. He doesn't seem to spend much time telling viewers about his
upset picks, or teams that should be applauded for overachieving.

It was a while ago on espn Insider. There was another comparing
Houston, GS and Phoenix and concluding GS had the best chance to win
because of the number of games against Eastern Conference opponents.
That view may change after the last two games, although as I write the
Warriors are leading Detroit in the fourth. Sure glad we don't have
to watch that on tv - thanks Fox.
