Pistons - Sixers

Pistons broke their road losing streak with a great performance by Stuckey
and a good job by Jerebko. Sixers were hampered by the big hole at 2. I'm
sure Iverson fans will say that he's just warming up, except that's the way
he's played for a long time now. I also assume they'll give the excuse
that the Pistons were gunning for him, except that the roster is so changed
from last year that it's hard to see them being too worked up over what
happened back then.

Never mind that the Pistons were on the road and missing 2 starters and
their 6th man. Iverson is so over. No team that has him in the starting line
up is going anywhere.

How many shots did Iverson make last night? 3? 4? It was fun
watching Stucky overpower Iverson everytime down the floor. If the
Sixers want to throw their money away on a has-been, so be it.
Obviously no one else in the NBA wanted to.

If he doesn't start playing a lot better, they're going to be buying

I was at a football game in Philly when they pelted Troy Aikman of the
Cowboys with ice balls....during warm ups!

The new will wear off soon enough. He might put butts in the seats for a few
games, but if they keep losing, people will go back to staying home.

They did also sell a lot of season and partial season tickets.

He has a lot of fans in Philly and rightfully so... whatever we think of
his game they built a team that fit it and did well. That what he fit
best with was 4 offense stiffs that could rebound like madmen made him
an MVP, and that he took that concept of a team to the finals is
impressive.
