I actually like Carlisle's comment even better:

As in, he wouldn't even consider cutting the last guy on his bench to bring
Iverson on board. As in, wouldn't even drop Matt Carroll with his 1 point
a game average on 27% shooting to pick up Iverson.

Well it may turn out that Iverson goes back to the 76ers. Maybe for
just a year so he can retire from them. I can't see them starting
Iverson over Holiday or Iguodala and unless Iverson has a huge change
of heart and puts his considerable ego in his pocket, he won't come
off the bench.

As I speculated, AI did sign a 1 year pro-rated veteran minimum
contract with the 76ers. They say it is to fill the spot of Lou
Williams who is on injured and out for about 6-8 weeks.
Does this mean AI will come off the bench? What happens when Lou
Williams returns? Maybe Eddie Jordan's personality and coaching can
overcome and control AI's ego. I doubt it, but you never know.
