Unlike jordon, who was "under the weather" in the 1997 finals game, Iverson
actually went out and played with the flu. Ive had 24 points, 6 asst (1 TO)
and led the Sixers to another [Greg Perry Word]-whipping of the Bulls.

No NBC-hype, just legic sickness and legit domination.

Iverson. Simply awesome.

Right. Until Iverson has 6 championship rings.... hell until Iverson
has one championship ring, he can show Dominique Wilkins how it's
done. Iverson, simply another high scoring ballhog like Wilkins who
will never win a ring.

You can jock your ringless upstart all you want--you're the only one who would
confuse him with Jordan.

This is the excuse he used when the cops pulled them over, legic sickness. It

While Iverson is a very good player
you are a troll. Lets compare
stat lines.

IVERSON:
37min 10-21 3 rebs 6asts. 24 pts.

Result? Regular season win.

JORDAN:
44min. 13-27 7rebs 5asts. 38pts.

Result? Finals win.

Oh yeah, you *really* got us there big man.

Comparing ONLY regular season games of an ill Jordan and an ill Iverson,
Jordan has a slight advantage...

I remember Mike dropping games of 40, 50, and even 60 while ill or hurt!
Iverson needs coach to call 5 time outs in the final minute to even get 50,
which he did once in a meaningless blowout loss, and he was at 100%.

No comparison there Judden.

AND....

IVERSON

4-9 freethrows (44%)

JORDAN

10-12 freethrows (83%)

Jordan also shot 48% against the toughest opponent for the Bulls in the
league at this time, while Iverson shot 47%, which is similar to Jordan but
what about the opponent? A Bulls side that is trying to hobble through this
season. Iverson 31 minutes while ill, and Jordan 44 minutes, which included
15 last quarter points and the tie-breaking three-pointer with 25 seconds
left.

The stats prove (you DO love stats, don't you) that Iverson and Jordan were
not on the same level talent wise when ill. Now if only we could get the
doctors report on both so we could prove that Iverson wasn't even near as
ill as Jordan...

Iverson. Simply making Wilt Chamberlain feel proud.
Iverson. Simply torched the Bulls so badly that even jordon felt it.
Iverson. Simply carrying on the powerful SuperSixer tradition.

You foolish jordon jocker. jordon will never be the competitor that the
powerful Iverson is. You fear Iverson's skills because you have seen
how Iverson torched foolish jordon.

Why won't you compare their FT% from last season? jordon didn't
win game 6 in last year's finals. the refs allowed foolish jordon
to have it this way so he can be adored by all jordon jockers.

And don't forget his hacking of Karl malone in the final seconds in order to
steal the ball from malone. jordon wasn't playing defense, he was playing
thugball.

you foolish jordon jocker. jordon travels so much and gets away with it, so
its easy to see how he could score so much. Iverson was more ill than jordon.
jordon was whining and wincing in the Finals, but Iverson tried to make
himself look as least sick as possible because he doesn't like to attract
attention like the way foolish jordon does.

go to judden's web page and you'll see so much of his stats and
wisdom that you will be begging Judden for forgiveness.

We were not talking about last season, we were talking about the games where
both players were ill, and what they did to help their teams. Tune in

Even the Utah fans admit that the steal was clean, and actually credit
jordan for the defensive play. This is the difference between Utah fans and
the Knicks; Utah accepts the defeat and prepares for another shot the
following season, while NY lays down and dies while the fans cry about he
past. Thug ball? When did Riley coach the Bulls? The Knicks and the Heat
are the thug ballers, not the Bulls. Stop crying because your fella's
choked in game 7 against Houston, while the Bulls had Jordan to get them
over the hump.

Hey, my sentiments exactly. You're "argument" can be used against jordan.
If jordan were to play on a team with much less talent, like Iverson has to,
jordan wouldn't have the rings he does.

Getting rings is a team concept, not relying on any one individual.
Like I've said before....you could have put me on the bench for the Bulls in
the last decade, and I'd have 6 rings.
So what is your point?

Riley teaches his team to give nothing. Magic Johnson said that the
reason that Showtime was so successful was because of the defense that
they played. The defense was what sparked their fast break.
In that era, where Riley coached the Lakers, the East and in
particular the Celtics had a bigger rep for being "thugballers" as you
so crassly put it. The West was the "Glamour and Glitz", while the
East was "Bump and Grind."
With the Knicks, Riley didnt really had a fast breaking team, so
played more to the half court game (owing to the fact he didnt have a
calibre point guard to the lead the break)
Riley doesnt teach thugball, he teaches "give nothing to thy enemy"

Maybe you should be talking to SKF1, who was the one who said the Bulls were
playing thugball against the Jazz in last years finals. I simply replied
saying that Riley's teams are the teams that tends to play thugball, not
Phil Jackson's. Phil used to play more of a team based trapping defence,
while Riley plays hard, physical defence. See the difference. Look at the
Matt Gieger/Shaq incident a few years ago. The Heat would never have done
that without Riley, but he promotes it in his teams. He wants them to play
though defence, not giving an inch. His philosophy is to foul hard and put
some caution in the oppositions head, so they will not take in strong next
time. This is what people tend to call 'thugball'.

Instead of shooting off your mouth, throwing insults around, read the
leading messages then comment on your thoughts without the language.

where td would need to research a stat to discredit this Judden¹s comments.
Without td and his stat, I probably would¹ve been dupped by Judden¹s
comment, that Iverson is indeed a much better player and performer than
someone named Michael Jordan. Without the timely research of td, I now feel
confident that Jordan maaayy be a better player than Iverson. Give me a
break! To actually go and look up a stat...Pheeeewwww...Like anyone had any
doubts to begin with.

This is a basketball NG. To discuss basketball is its
purpose. I think it is more fun for everyone when it
is done seriously and accurately. Thats just me.

This is your second post now regarding how I am
taking something that you consider trivial waaayyyyyyyy
too seriously. Am I the only one seeing the irony here??

"Actually going to look up a stat" is hardly a big deal.
For me or anyone but in my case it took me about 1 minute.
If that is the kind of thing that makes you go "Pheeeewwww"
then maybe you could give me some idea of what an acceptable
amount of time to spend on a post would be. In any event
I betting that you have spent more time reading and responding
to my first post than it took me to "actually go and look up
a stat". I guess it must be the *go* part that confounds you.

This is one area (maybe the only area) S.Knight and I can agree. The
Bulls would not have had any championships if you were to, as Judden
claims, replace Jordan with Peeler or Houston or Miller... This is not
to say that MJ makes a championship *team*. Merely that he was a
critical piece. Kerr was not. Chicago still would have won w/o Kerr.
All three? Who knows. Maybe, maybe not. There are other Steve Kerrs
out there, so probably. Rodman and Pippen are the only other two
players that are really crucial. Certainly not w/o both, but would the
Bulls have won w/o one or the other? Sure. Not 3 times (Rodman) or 6
times (Pippen), but they would have won. Grant proved replaceable by
Rodman, and vice versa. If you remove MJ, that Chicago team does not
even have a fighting chance to win a title. That is, I believe, the
point of the above poster.

There are other Michael Jordan's out there, too. One plays for UPenn.
What is your point? There isn't anyone else in history who shot the 3 in
the NBA as well as Kerr. If Kerr's are a dime-a-dozen, then why did San
Antonio pay $2M/year for such a commen player?

They would win w/o jordon. Pippen took the team a lot farther w/o

San Antonio. Definitely a team that knows what they're doing and always

Very true, very true. Good post. Pip and MJ were
the critical element, obviously, in the Bulls championship
years. There are quite a few guys in the NBA who could have
joined those two and contributed to championships. The Bulls
had the largest margin for error of any team in pro sports
during their heyday IMO.

Could MJ and/or Pip have won titles with different teams??
Probably, assuming they landed in good situations. I think
you put either of those two on any of the 1-5 playoff teams
and you have a team that is going to seriously compete for
a title.

Put either of them on the Clips and you might have 7th or
8th seed. Maybe.

And just for all your trash-talk, we're not gonna let you have Phil Jackson

you are destined to watching other towns like mine win the trophies. You've
got super-nicks in your cranium to follow those worthless weasels--what a

Iverson is in the same tradition as the powerful and handsome SuperWilt
ChamberLain. While Wilt became the first player to average 30+ PPG

and 10+ Reboundspergame in his career, in 10 0r 12 years Iverson
will be averaging 30+ppg and 10+ Assists pergame for his career, and

Iverson is a team player, and much better than jordon. Many great players
do not turn their teams into championship contenders in the same
year that they join the team, because it's a team game, not like a
selfishness game as jordon likes to think. Iverson couldn't do this in
his first season because the Sixers were rebuilding in 1996-97.
He is doing this now. Also, Wilt and Doc were more experienced than
Iverson and were older than Iverson. The Sixers are now championship
contenders and Iverson is now 23 years old. Wilt and Doc were at
least the same age as that or older when they joined the SuperSixers.

I was talking about Wolt's cumulative career numbers and comparing Iverson's
future stats with those of Wilt's. Iverson will average 10+ assists
for at least 3 seasons. he is improving and attended college for only
2 years. In 1996-97, as the season progressed, Iverson raised both his
scoring and assists averages, so Iverson can do anything he wants.

Hey, jordon jocking wretch,

The SuperKnicks are the greatest team in the NBA, and after they get over with
their injuries, will make a run for the best record in the NBA. The
SuperKnicks did live up to my hopes, it's just that the jBA (jordon
Basketball Association) favored jordon so greatly they made many
blows to the SuperKnicks. With SuperPatrick's powerful
heart, the Superknicks can do anything.

I have no idea what jordon jocking is. I know he revolutionized basketball at
NY's expense, but that is good, not bad. You can't see the quality of his game,
because you are a poor sport and a genuine loser.

If you are satisfied to hold your team down with your lukewarm appreciation of

The refs allow jordon to cheat and hack his opponents at will.

I don't pretend. I know the Knicks are SuperDuper. They are great and
Will devastaete teams in the playoffs.
Foolish jordon is a snb. Don't bother with jordon.

jordon's quality is foolish and weak. You're the loser, you're the one who
jocks jordon so much. jordon's ballhoggetry has embarrasses many a genuine
basketball fan.

The Superknicks will win because they are great and Ewing needs a ring. I
appreciate the game of basketball, and its history. You seem ignorant of

The SuperKnicks were not thugballers under SuperRiley, they really played
genuine defense. The SuperKnicks will get many more chances to win the
tittle. 1994 was a stepping stone for the SuperKnicks. They are now
experienced and gracefull. As for the bulls, jordon ballhogged his way to
foolish glory.

Keep it up, moron. All you're writing here is a menu of the words you shall eat!
The Bulls have a better road record than your girlie-men. You follow losers, why
brag about a team that scored 5 points (3 on a questionable foul foul on Sprewell)
in an entire quarter. If that's satisfying to you, you should give up basketball
entirely--YOU DON'T GET IT, monkey!

At 5 points a quarter, Van Gundy will be 211 years old when you get a ring.

He retired I heard. I don't think of him in the present sense. Its basketball as
usual, and Knicks sucking to the delight of their super-2nd-rate fans. You
encourage them to lose by praising their ineptness. Keep it up, loser. That would
never work in Chicago.

You foolish wretch!!! You're as annoying as a cockroach. After Ewing
wins the throne you will be hailing him as ruler supreme!!!

By the end of the season the SuperKnicks will have a better record.
Talking about losers your beloved Bulls have an overall losing record.

This was the only time this season that the SuperKnicks score 5 points
in a quarter. Why should I worry about my SuperKnicks' power?
They rule.

The SuperKnicks can't win every game, but the refs had it in for them
as the refs genuine hatred towards the SuperKnicks stems from the
fact that the SuperKnicks crushed foolish jordon over and over again.

Yeah, and as long as SKF is around, OWT will always prevent the Knicks
from ever winning a championship. I think his woofing could cover for a
population of millions.

Were you even old enough to remember when Jordan came into the league?  (BTW--it's absurd, not obsurd)
i dont think allen iverson will ever even dream of being able to show
jordan something!!!  that is the most obsurd thing i have EVER heard.
Jordan is the greatest basketball player to have stepped foot on a
court...if he were to come out of retirement right now he would still
dominate!!! Bulls for LIFE!!!!

You flunk creative writing. Go to summer school. I won't be hiring you as proof
reader, if you're so anal retentive to sniff out a typo and totally overlook
content.

I stand corrected, everybody. Of all the misconceptions to defeat on this ng,
Matt has brought to my attention that I misspelled "breaking."

Well, Matt, I said "Tesch" when the correct word is "Tesh." Where were you on
that one? Sloppy proofreading is worse than none.

Greg-

If you want to equate the gross misspelling of a word like BREAKING to my
overlooking of your misspelled Tesh, a word that's not AS used on a daily
basis as BREAKING, just to make yourself feel better, then go ahead. I
understand. It's easier to attack than it is to admit an error. I was simply
pointing out your mistake. As far as "sniffing out an error", hell...Ya
Can't miss it.

Yeah, nice comeback SuperKnicksFag1...

He's just a "Judden" wannabe, regardless of his age.
Still, given his sentence structure and vocabulary, I'm assuming that
either he's 14, or he's 16 and skips school a lot.

And you are a Me Myself and Iverson jocker.

The difference is that Jordan jockers have an amazingly successful
career to look back on, and a fist full of championship rings to count.
Compared to what Jordan has done, Iverson is still in diapers.

Yeah, Iverson NEVER hogs the ball, right?

Please leave the Jordan slamming business to "Judden". He's much better
at it than you. Just keep your mouth shut, read up, and learn how it's
done. When you think you might have the hang of it, then go ahead and
post again.

Actually, they've jumped on the Lakers bandwagon and no longer give a
crap about Chicago. You need to think of a new cutesy acronym now or
risk being labeled a dinosaur. Good luck.

I don't jock Iverson, I merely praise his talents because jordon,
the media, and jordon jockers like yourself fear Iverson 'cuz he's
better than jordon, so expose Iverson's brilliance.

jordon's career is foolish, weak, and ballhoggeddy. True fans
want to watch team players, not foolish jordon.

Iverson isn't a ballhog, as he doesn't keep on averaging 30+ PPG
every season, Iverson simply has the skills to help his team win.

Why won't you make me? You make it look as if jordon is the greatest
player ever. So now you're going to make me shut up, Mr. jordon
jocking wretch?
Judden and I are part of a powerful team that
exposes jordon's foolishness. All are invited, for jordon is
severely foolish.

I can think of many, but this works fine. It's not my fault
NBC jocks jordon so much.

Judden and I expose jordon's foolishness, and we get ideas from each
other, that's all. Exposing jordon's foolishness requires a great
degree of skill and care.

Fear? It's not like I'm fascing him tonight or anything. You're just
extremely pissed that Jordan is world reknown as the greatest in his
era, and you have no outlet for your anger. At least while he was still
playing, you could watch him and pray he did poorly. Now all you have
to snort at is the dynasty he built in Chicago.

How long that takes depends on just how dense you really are.

Cigarette Smoking Man, your hypocrisy is amusing. YOu steal your

That's cuz you don't know what it means. SKF should have known to use
words more than 4-letters long when conversing with you.

Sure...led the league in bricks more times than any other player in

last year.

That's why he was only worth 2 wins to the Bulls.

I wasn't aware that the 3 was Jordan's biggest offensive weapon. I
thought it was the deadly jumper and the amazing slammers that we always
see pictures of in all the papers and magazines. Why would you ignore
all that and insult his outside shooting? This one's weak, even for

4 years? Almost as long as I've been posting to Usenet. So after 4
years of Usenet posting, he hasn't gotten past the newbie "why don't you
make me?" bullshit? That's even more pathetic than if it was his first

You like to think that because it fits in with your twisted world view,
but it's simply not true. Go on, now cut and paste your "this is why
Pippen was the real reason behind the Bulls success" paragraph again.

BTW, how many 72 win seasons are you predicting out of Houston?

Mr. Ron, that is JUDDEN'S website. Notice how SKF is mentioned in the
third person...hello?

Besides, dork, you missed the point...SKF doesn't copy Judden.
SKF STARTED exposing jordon's Foolishness before everyone else.

Dang! How stupid can one be?

It's not EVEN a weapon. It shows how limited his game is. 14 years
after joining the league, he still can't shoot a 3, and he's a
friggin' guard. HE lacks Magic's worth ethic.

I

That deadly jumper that bricks so often he has more bricks per game
than any player in history?

Why would you ignore

go to the EjF site. You will see Judden exposing FAR more about
jordon's weaknesses than that:

Really? How many times has he gone to the 2nd round of the playoffs
without Pippen?

How come the 1994 Bulls went 57-25 and the 1993 Bulls went 55-27?

How come the 1995 Bulls didn't win the title?

Who has a better career record? Pippen or jordon?

Who has a better career post-season record? Pippen or jordon?

D'OH!

Wanna bet? jordon jocker, you seem to forget that jordon joined the

I expose jordon because he is overhyped and overrated. The Internet
reaches most of the world, so in my efforts I want all to hear me
and stop listen to the jordon jocking media.

Exposing jordon's foolishness is a necessary duty. I am not angry,
you wretch. I wish jordon was still playing so he can get torched
by Super Iverson and Super JohnStarks Power!!! jordon did not
build a dynasty, he built a legion of jordon jocking refs.

You are too busy jocking jordon, from what I could tell.

Because he isn't on the low level than jordon is. Iverson is powerful,
so it's hard to compare him to jordon.

I don't carry judden jock. Judden and I are fearless exposers of jordon's
foolishness. You are an embarrassment to the Bulls newsgroup with your
wretchedness and ignorance.

I'ver been exposing jordon's foolishness since March 1995, and you
can't make me stop posting powerful posts.

power!!!

jordon won the adoration of the refs. jordon owns the refs on the court
and they helped him get the rings.

Many people are swayed by the jocking done by the media and fall into
the trap of jocking jordon. I merely just want to get them out of the
trap. jordon is nothing special. You're the one who is foolish
and will get smacked around if you mess with me or my powerful
buddies.

jordon can't even follow Iverson's shadow, that's how inferior jordon
is compared to Iverson. jordon wasn't consistent in shooting 50%+
every season in which he averaged 30+ppg, so your jocking of
jordon's stats is foolish. Iverson passes the ball around better than foolish
jordon.

jordon has more ballhog points than Iverson. Iverson's ballhog points
are also below 1.77, (if you read Judden's powerful Exposers of
jordon's foolishness webpage) so it's difficult to say that Iverson
is a ballhog.

I presented many arguments about jordon's foolishness. Repeating them

jock jordon and are ignorant of the truth about jordon. You're the
deadhead, you are a wretched jordon jocker.

LOL..........you do not even know the points system you jock so

Iverson's stat line confirms him to be a ballhog.

*sigh* Why don't you morons get it? SKF exposed jordon's foolishness
so powerfully that Judden was deeply moved and joined SKF's righteous
cause. SKF is the most powerful EjF in history. The EjF page
is a tribute to the genius of SKF. The reason Judden list the Knicks
as the "SuperKnicks" all over the page is out of respect for SKF, since
we all know that Judden's team is the Sixers.

Yawn. You can thank the jordon-jocking refs for this. Wilt averaged 54%
for his career, so from your argument you admit Wilt >> jordon.

SKF didn't use them to compare them (in an area other than ballhogging,
which it can -- in the binary sense). He said jordon is a ballhog and
Iverson is not.

it is only a yes or no answer......and this year
> Iverson's stat line confirms him to be a ballhog.

LIE!!!! The webpage says that career numbers answer the question
authoritatively. Iverson's career Ballhog Points are 1.73. Iverson is
*NOT* a ballhog. jordon is.

Don't argue with SKF. SKF is right.

SKF and Judden grow tired of presenent the same indisputible arguments
to a new jordon jocker every 2 months, so that is why the webpage
was made. You want your facts, logic, and argument? Go here:

This answers the pyschological question of the ages: It was assumed that
most jordon jockers are jordon jocking morons because of their environment.
However, you claim you are void of the atmsosphere, so you are a jordon
jocking idiot because of your genetics.

As I mentioned, your links weren't worth the time they took to load.
Why not respond to the point instead of evading the comment? Explain to
me how a Usenet veteran can post "Why won't you make me?".

This too is getting very old. Almost as lame as *plonk*.

So now it's Rodman and not Pippen? Next you'll be telling me it's
Weddington.

You've got to start doing better if you expect me to keep wasting time
on you. If your responses don't start to improve soon, I will go back
to ignoring you, as most have already done.

On the contrary, he exposes foolishness with every post,
just not the foolishness he has in mind. Any psychologist will tell
you, for those who crave attention, bad attention is just as acceptable
as good attention. We can call him a nutjob, but instead of realizing
why we say it, he sees any response to his posts as a good thing. "Wow,
they're talking to me."
