38.3 innings this year

Ladson:
Right-hander Jon Garland will not play for the Nationals. He prefers to play
for a West Coast team.

The Nationals still have interest in 2B Orlando Hudson. If they sign Hudson,
Cristian Guzman most likely will go back to shortstop.

The Nationals continue to have interest in right-hander John Smoltz, but
they are not willing to break the bank to get him.

Cubs to bump his salary up. The Guarado rumor is an attempt to get
Capps to sign quickly. Guarado hates the Nats.

They actually did sign Guarado to a minor league deal with a Spring
Training invite. How far do you need to fall to sign a minor league
deal with a team you hate?

I wish he'd go through with his threat to quit baseball........Then again,
maybe he'll be great for an old guy. I'd like to see one of those shocking
surprises on the Nats one day...
