WEDNESDAY, 11:02pm: Capps is not close to a deal with the Nationals, reports
Ladson (via Twitter). Ladson also tweets that Capps thought he was close to
a deal early this evening, but may not agree to anything until Christmas Eve
or right after Christmas.

You should have stayed up another hour. WAPO reported that he signed at
2:14. It is a one year deal.
