Albert Belle was selected in the `87 draft by the Indians - he would have been
a very high first round pick, but he was a head case even then.
So like, do I get half the case for knowing the answer?

No, he started his career with the Indians. Though in the first couple
of years, he was called "Joey Belle," before he told them he preferred
Albert.

Actually, Albert was called 'Joey' from his chilhood through to college and
the Majors. He just 'invented' Albert after re-hab. Apparently Joey was a
nice guy.
