For the first time ever in the nine-year history of The Rose Award,
the award goes to two players on the same team, Josh Fields and Mark
Buehrle of the Chicago White Sox.

pitching a perfect game.

in the American League Central in impeccable style with the 18th
perfect game in major league history.
