Profile

The Cardinals finally broke ground in February on Ballpark Village, the real
estate next to Busch Stadium that was supposed to see six blocks developed
for commercial use, but has been greatly scaled back after several years of
delays. The Village's $100 million first phase is slated to include two
buildings and a canopied space, with a total of 100,000 square feet of
stores, restaurants and entertainment outlets, and be open for business by
Spring of 2014. The Cardinals, who own their privately-financed stadium, are
paying for the development of the Village.

[1] Value of team based on current stadium deal (unless new stadium is
pending) without deduction for debt (other than stadium debt).

[2] Net of stadium revenues used for debt payments.
[3] Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization.
[4] Includes stadium debts.
[5] Includes benefits and bonuses.
[6] Includes club seats.

the MLB. Playoff wins count twice as much as regular season wins. A score of
120 means that the team achieved 20% more victories per dollar of payroll
compared with the league average during the 2011-12 season.

[8] Local revenues divided by metro population with populations in two-team
markets divided in half.

[9] Portion of franchise's value attributable to revenue shared among all
teams.
[10] Portion of franchise's value attributable to its city and market size.
[11] Portion of franchise's value attributable to its stadium.

[13] Current team value compared with latest transaction price.

On Wed, 27 Mar 2013 23:24:07 -0500, "News" <m...@sb.net> ruins another
newsgroup with his childish behavior:

Face it, Roy Lieberman, aka "News." You've ruined yet another
newsgroup with your mental disorders, obsessions, lack of
self-awareness and diarrhea of the keyboard.

Recommendation to all the rest of you: Keep on going. Just killfile
"News" and killfile him again when he changes his nym. Your newsgroup
will be much more pleasant without him.

Now watch the self-serving howling at the full moon begin ... again,

Apparently so, judging by the greatly reduced amount of traffic in this
group. At least most of you have learned to ignore him. As a result, he
doesn't post nearly as much as he used to, and has lower expectations
when he does. It's his obliviousness and downright idiocy that makes him
so much fun to taunt, and that's why he's such a sideshow in other
groups. It doesn't really matter what's in the subject line of anything
he posts. In the end, it's always about him.
