Yes the throw beat him, but I watched it several times in slow motion and the first baseman had his foot at least 4 or 5 inches off the bag. That is what Calixte was telling the team, and he was correct. But I guess on the tape that Dunston reviews or whomever is reviewing the tape for the giants could not see it within the 30 second window. Not happy that Posey and Crawford were out on 2 straight pitches after the giants had been working Nelson the entire game.
