His low RBI totals have to be alarming, and he should not be batting clean up. Hard to believe but Arroyo already has more RBI than Posey. Posey is hitting around 350 but continues to try to do too much late in the game and ends up with nada. When he first came up. he was Mr. Clutch. Now giants again turn over the game to the bullpen with a lead, but with a lead the offense did not add on. Nice Job Cueto. Two runs that scored could have been removed with sharper defense. Morse's throw to second for the DP was off and the run scored, Than the 3rd run that scored was the run following Gonzalez's grounder that Nunez made a nice play on but then could not exchange the ball from his glove to his throwing hand. The run eventually scored. Turner squares up everything. A former utility guy. WTF.
You do his job and see how you feel after seasons behind the plate, a
badly broken ankle, multiple concussions and a back injury.
It was the only position that I absolutely refused to play. :)
That might be the reason he's not performing well. However, he is
still hitting, he's a very good guide for his pitchers and he can
still gun down a base runners.
