Any compliment about the team is likely to be rewarded with a slew of
runs and even less hitting from the Giants. One thing Samardzija still
does it throw too many pitches near the middle of the strike zone.

Yes, that was a "foot" out of the strike zone.

5th inning magic, of course. Panik doubles, Tomlinson lines out but
Panik takes 3rd. Samardzija can't do more than ground out for the 2nd
out and Panik stays at 3rd. It's all up to "gulp" Gorky's Hernandez
and his sub-Mendoza batting average.

He walks, so maybe Belt will do more than walk this time.Urias is
either afraid or he's totally lost control. Belt walks and the bases
are loaded for .... Pence. What will the caveman do now?

Called strike on the outside edge, swinging strike, he flies out to
Puig to kill another scoring opportunity.

Urias is a damn good pitcher, with a 0.84 ERA. Something unheard of in
San Francisco.

Samardzija finally gets a miniscule amount of run support as Posey
drives in a run on the sacrifice and the Giants tie the Bums after
Panik's Golden Glove error allows the Bums to score.
