Giants have signed Penny, to be a relief
pitcher. Looks like he will take the place
of one of the Fresno guys on our roster.
That means someone will get DFA'd

Watched this P.O.S. with the Tigers last season. Unless he learned
something new in Japan, prepare to be disappointed.

Looks like all of his good years were in the NL while every time he
went to the AL he totally sucked, so there's some hope.

2009 Boston 5.61 ERA
2009 SF 2.59 ERA
2010 STL 3.23 ERA
2011 DET 5.30 ERA

Heck, at this point he'll probably pitch better than Lincecum.
