Magnifique! Merveilleux! Superbe! Exceptionnel!
It was also nice to see the Yankees lose earlier, too. Unfortunately, I
find myself rooting for the Angels but at least (for me) it's the lesser of
two evils.

The only reason to root for the Yankees was that they probably had the better
chance against the Dodgers. With hopefully the bums going out now, I can root
for the Angels in hopes that the Phillies will take it all.
Priority of preferred wins
Giants win game that gives them the world series title.
Giants win any game vs the dodgers especially one which
clinches a playoff for the giants, or knocks the dodgers out
of the playoffs, or does both at once.
A giants win, vs anybody, and a dodgers loss.
A giants win irrespective of a dodgers loss
A dodgers loss even in the face of a giants loss or giants day off.
For what little good it's done, rooting for the Angels doesn't seem to
be working. Angels pitching and sloppiy fielding will make it a
Yankee series in the end.
Still, watching the Dodgers trudge off the field and into the
offseason as observers, not players ... works just fine for me.
Yep, you're right, it was fun to watch. Phillies/Yankees should be a
good watch, be it in the cold, I'll be warm.
I dialed up MLB on my iPhone and listened in on Ol Vin as he put the
Dodgers to rest for another season ... even better.
Well it looks as if ESPN will be really happy, if it does
turn out to be an all EAST COAST world series!
