I am a Sports Artist and a huge fan of Barry Bonds, probably the
greatest hitter of all time. I have an original painting of Bonds

nah, yankees don't allow mustaches. shouldn't felipe alou be standing
in the bankground in a manager's uniform and steve finley be stepping
up to the plate?

I painted this in late 2004...but "756" is what it is all about...all
the talk all the controversy, etc. Bonds may be in the AL this year,
but he is a Giant one way or the other

Wait a minute here. In your original post you said you're "a huge fan of
Barry Bonds", but now you say "Bonds may be in the AL this year"? FYI, that
was a tongue-in-cheek reference to the fact that Bonds may be with another
team next year after his contract runs out at the end of this season.

Methinks the only thing you're a huge fan of is pieces of green paper with
pictures of dead presidents on them.

Sorry yakuza...that was a clerical error...I meant next year. Bonds is
one of my favorites ever, even from his days in Pittsburgh. Other than
Rickey Henderson, I think Bonds is the best offensive player of all
time. I admire him for the way he is able to focus on hitting in spite
of all the scrutiny. Not many players, or people in general could go
through what he does on a daily basis and continue to produce. His
average is down a bit this year, but he still hits well over 300 with
runners on.

Anyhow...I apologize for the typo...and hopefully you wont rush to
judge me so fast next time.

Thanks...I appreciate it Barry. Everyone is entitled to an opinion I
guess, even the negative ones. You just have to keep swinging the bat,
sometimes you strikeout, but sometimes you hit a homerun.
