Me? Tampa.
Hey, the 2 teams with the best record in their respective league are already
gone. Once again, one or both wildcard teams have a decent chance of
getting into the WS. Just goes to show you, anything can happen in a short
series. Almost every year has a wildcard team in the WS, it seems like, at
least in this century...
RedSox ... All the way and there's not team in the NL that I want to
win. If they are not the Giants, the hell with them.

As much as I am *not* a fan of the Red Sox, I guess I have to root for them as
long as the Dodgers are in it. I have a feeling they would have a better shot
against LA than Tampa. In any case, so long as LA doesn't win it, I don't really
care otherwise.
Phillies vs Tampa baby!
The pros: No Boston (the new (and original?) Yankees), No Bums.
I kind of like this young Tampa team and the underdog aspect, other
than that, it's more about who I'm rooting against.

Yeah, if I knew that the Phillies would beat the Dodgers, I'd root for Tampa in
the AL hands down. I guess overall I'll root for the Phillies just cause of my
NL bias.

Me? Too.
Against? Dodgers & Red Sox.

That's my usual default as well, can't explain why it's not kicking in
with the Phillies.
Ditto; I'm rooting For Tampa and against Dodgers and Red Sox. And, if the
Phils and Rays get to the WS I'll be rooting for the Rays. The only thing
that bugs me about the Rays is that awful domed stadium they play in. It's
really aesthetically unpleasing or in other words 'freakin' ugly'. <g>
Oh, if the Dodger's and the Red Sox get to the WS I'll have to root for the
Sox....or maybe I'll just forget about baseball and watch the election and
pray that our next VP isn't from Alaska.

If the Phils and Rays get to the WS, I'll be ambivalent. I'm not really
rooting for teams as much as I am rooting for underdogs and against evil.

Tampa also, I've been watching their young talent grow together,
picked them to win the East this year. Youthfull
enthusiasm........makes me feel young....er...lol.
Too bad the fans don't support the team and the owner loves to sell
off expensive players (or potentially expensive players).
It worked for FLA....
That's fine, but I'd rather cheer a team with some real history and
the prospects of repeating the next season. Think the Giants will
take a look at some of their players in the offseason?
I'll bet the networks would prefer Boston vs. LA--bigger media markets. East vs.
West.
My 2 favorite teams are the Giants and whoever is playing the Dodgers.

And Eva Longoria is *hot*! Oh wait, I meant...

That was part of the reason I posted the question: the rooting against part.
