Thank you BF. This era of Pirate baseball makes the 1950's Pirates
look like NL Champions. Thank God I don't get to see them play here in
FL, and I would not drive to see them against the Marlins. I won't
even go to the Spring Training games in Bradenton. Danny Murtaugh and
Fred Clarke must be looking down in complete disgust.
Along with Willie Stargell and Roberto Clemente...
Not even the great Honus Wagner could save this team. God rest his
soul.
How can you fuck up a team worse than one that's had 17 straight losing
seasons?
Very good question! Pittsburgh truly is the City of Champions, now
that the Pirates hold the title for most consecutive losing seasons by
an American pro sports team.
