The Rose Award goes to Kendry Morales of the Los Angeles Angels, who
went five-for-five with six RBI and scored two runs in a 11-7 win over
the Oakland Athletics.

Morales hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning. The Angels
erased a 6-2 deficit by scoring seven runs in the seventh to take a
9-6 lead.

Kendry Morales saved the day alright. Up to the 7th Inning I'm thinking
"where's the slugging power? Thursday's game upseted me a lot not because of
Santana (who pitched well for most of the game) but because we had lots of
chances to score & we didn't & I was worried that it will carry on to
Friday's game. Hopefully, that awoken the Angels batters for the rest of the
series.

The Angels are, and have been for years, a team that is so together that
they even go into slumps together. Very silly to think that they weren't
going to come out of it Real Soon Now. I'm not even going to be
surprised, or worried in the least, if Friday's game didn't completely
nsnap them out of it.

And, really, when would you rather have the team go into a hitting
slump--now or in October?
