Before the season started they were trying to decide on the fifth
starter and send the sixth guy down. Now they are looking for a third
starter assuming Pettitte is for real.

At least three of the guys are not hitting their hat size and what's a
closer. They have 6 or 7 golden gloves and about the same number balsa
bats.

They gotta stop reading their press clippings and listening to the
announcers.

What's funnier is, as of this posting, .500 is good for last place in
the AL east. It's the end of May and Baltimore is still in first, which
is shocking by itself. Baltimore and Toronto are ahead of Boston AND NYY
at the end of May.

So much for big payrolls

This is a very average team. They won't make it to the postseason.

The four largest payrolls in baseball are all in last place.

Nitpick: Gold Gloves, please. The head picture was that of a bunch of boxers
standing around the infield looking confused.

Knowing Steinbrenner's temper, Torre better get the job done
well before August.
