Too bad I couldn't see the Fat Man's face on TV ...

I'm surprised that you still listen to him. I found him to be
unlistenable when the Dog left. I went cold turkey, and don't miss his show
at all.

I don't on a regular basis, I just got lucky this time.
I wonder if WFAN is kicking themselves for resigning him to that big
deal right before Dog bailed? He really is damn boring and repetitive to the
point of wanting to throw the radio out!

I work with all Yankee fans and they can't even listen to him anymore
either.
No, no ,no, you have to understand. You see, based on never having been
a GM, Mikey knows far more about that than any GM does, and therefore is
quite justified in allowing him to utter no more than 2 complete
sentences during an interview. The same with baseball managers, NFL
coaches, quarterbacks, hitters, pitchers, and any other profession that
he deems himself an expert in.
We are all just so fortunate that he is with us....he is a true legend
in his own mind, and if you dare to disagree, I'll cut you off right now.
My apologies. LOL
Fat boy yelled "enough, enough, you cant compare Pettite and Pedro to
what they were
Then with Sweeny, Fat boy threw out stats of Rivera throwing 40+ and 30+
pitches in consecutive games.
Sweeny asked "when was this".
Fat boy stammered and then said "you want the year". Yes, said Sweeny.
"It was 1996" replied Fat boy.
Priceless!!!
Francessa always has this contempt for callers and what they say. He
loves
to think he has one over on them. But he is funny when he contradicts
himself.

Then Sweeney and Mike start talking about games were Mariano threw
more than one inning on two consecutive days and Mike brings up a few
games. Than Sweeney was like "Mike was that in 2004? Are those the
games the Yankees lost?" and Mike was like "we got plenty of
statistics" but never offered anymore and the interview was over

You talking to me? I didn't say that. Read the quote.
As for Francessa , he is saying now that the Mets should make Roy
Holliday a top
priority. Not bad, but I would like to see them get hitting first.

>Priceless!!!
I wasn't even referring to that. I was referring to a moment, while
Murti was arguing against using Rivera for more than 7 outs, and Fat man
screaming that he did so very recently, more recently than 1996. Murti
demanded to know when, and he said 2004. It was the game Rivera blew
against the BoSox.
Yes. That was the moment I was referring to. It's a must listen for
Fatscessa haters.

It's true, you know. He waddles down from the mountain with his
pronouncements on stone tablets. I tell you, people just don't
appreciate his greatness.
People just think he's a horse's ass with a microphone. Little do
they know that he's our gift from above...just ask him.
