The Rose Award goes to David Freese of the St. Louis Cardinals, who
went two-for-five with six RBI and scored two runs in a 14-2 win over
the Houston Astros.
Freese hit a grand slam to highlight a seven-run seventh inning and
added a two-run shot in the ninth. Carlos Beltran belted his 16th
homer as the Cardinals had 16 hits.
