Assuming this isn't just a troll, I wonder what help a
corked bat would give towards an AVG? Isn't the
point of a corked bat to provide more power, in other
words more distance?
I suppose a corked bat _may_ give a ball a little more
"zip" allowing to get through the infield faster than a
fielder could get in position to field it, but that's about
the only area where I could see a corked bat helping
achieve hits over a normal bat.
