The Fightins dodged a few bullets late in this game and Chase "superstar"
Utley comes thru in the 12th.
I guess Lidge had some trouble, but the Marlins are a scrappy team, too.
Hamels was pitching well before the rain delay.
The Marlins announcers are already talking wild card for their team.
FYI, MLB Extra Innings is giving a free preview thru the weekend.

I understand that the center field camera used as the standard shot
during the game is not directly behind the pitcher, but in watching
what I did of the game I had to conclude that the home plate umpire
was screwing both teams.
Also, the run that Lidge allowed might not have scored had Ruiz been
catching and not Paul Bako, but the Marlins' 4th run might not have
scored if Ibanez had been in left field and not Mayberry.

I don't know why Comcast doesn't show the preview in HD where it is
available.

I'm not sure of what you refer to. I think the "pre-game" *is* in HD, isn't
it? At least I think it is, but, I would hasten to guess that cable
companies are much more likely to screw up then network companies. And local
affiliate companies are much more likely to screw up than network companies.
And, I'd bet cable companies are *still* more amateurish than local
affiliate companies.
Speaking of which, if you had the 5.1 sound on for Phillies games, I
*thought* I heard the broadcasters coming from the surround channels and not
the center channels for some Phillies games. But, that has been a while.
FWIW, a much more pleasant experience. The reason the center channel is
there is to match the person on the screen who is talking at the moment.
During televised sporting events a different sound mix is more desirable.

I think I just saw the Psychoacoustics perform in Asbury Park last
