Dave Dombrowski and all, did not offer arbitration to Placido Polanco, one of the better and most consistent hitters on the Tigers' ball club. He's also been an outstanding 2nd baseman since he's been with the team. The Phillies (his original team) are now going after Placido to become their everyday 3rd baseman.
