Omar Vizquel is now a member of the White Sox which begs this
question:

Who is older Ozzie or Omar?
One thing for sure, either one can play shortstop better than Ramirez.

I'm sure you know that Ozzie is older, albeit only 3 years older.

Well that's simply not true. It is true that both were better than
Ramirez, "in their day." Ramirez will be fine. And I'm fine, in fact
I like the idea, with Omar Vizquel being a bench player for the Sox.
He can fill-in at SS, 2nd and 3rd perfectly fine. If the Sox need a
pinch hit, especially a pinch hit for someone to move a runner along,
I look forward to seeing Omar coming to the plate. And I think Omar
will be fine addition to the team as far as leadership. Diminish that
all you like, but I believe he'll be a positive addition.

The Sox and KW sure do have love for players from the great Indians
teams of the 1990's: Lofton, Belle, Thome, Herbert Perry (ok, not a
great player), the Alomars and now Omar Vizquel. Now Omar will know
how it feels to get booed at Jacobs Field in a White Sox uniform.

Actually I do like Omar and I think he can help settle down the
infield as well as help Ramirez & Beckham.
I just hope this isn't the Sox' big move for the 2010 season.
Lots of help is needed for relief and if Pods isn't coming back,
needed speed will be missing along with a much needed left handed bat
in the lineup.
I know I'm probably alone on this, but I wouldn't mind seeing Thome
come back at DH for one more year.

Reportedly WS are looking at Coco Crisp, which probably means Podsednik is
not in their plans.

I hope so. I always thought he had the coolest name in baseball. I
just never thought he was all that good.
