Just read that the Angels have begun talks with Jason Bay. IF the Angels
do sign him, where do you play him? He's been ranked one of the worst
defensive players, so do you make have him DH? Or do you make him LF and
switch Rivera to DH? Personally, I would go with making him DH.
Basically a Bay for Vlad swap. Once again, that's IF the Angels sign
him.

What it said in the LATimes today was that he'd play left; Rivera
would share right with Abreu, and that the 4 OFs would rotate between
the OF and DH.

There's also a rumor that the Angels are dangling Rivera as trade
bait. He's under contract through 2011 and at a reasonable rate that
any team could afford to pay.

Mets were inquiring about Rivera. It would have to be for prospects as I
don't think the Angels would want what the Mets have. One could only
hope it's to complete a three team deal which would send Halladay to the
Angels.

The question isn't "Do the Mets have anything that the Angels want?".
It's "Do the Mets have anything *TORONTO* wants?"
Rivera => Mets
??? => Toronto
Hallady => Angels
