This is the saddest news. Figgy was my favorite player on the Angels.

I too will miss him. For some reason, I think Figgins will be be missed more
so than Vlad or Lackey (should the latter go elsewhere too). At least he'll
still in the AL West so we'll still get to see him a bit.

What the hail???

Who's gonna play 3rd???

What is an ideal lead-off hitter?

1) .298 ave.
2) Lead the league in runs scored

Who's gonna lead off now?

Angels better get Ichiro in return.........

yes it's sad that we don't have figgins anymore. gonna miss him. such a
good player for the angels. i heard brandon wood will play 3rd and he
can hit 20 or more homers a year and drive in 80 to 100 runs a year. and
maicer izturis can play lead off and do the same job that figgins did.

Probably Aybar.

You don't get players in return for losing FAs, you get draft picks.

In all likelihood, I think you are correct, but I also believe that
Izzy is going to get an opportunity to compete for the job in spring.

Izzy could also do it.

Yeah, he could, but he's not a starter.
