I hope tonight's game was encouraging for him, although I know he's waiting to check Don's grade before calling the night a total success.

Weird triple play in the game; it took
Dave and Eck a moment to realize what
had happened.
JBJ hit a popup just beyond the infield on
the 3B side. He assumed that it would be
caught and turned toward the dugout, IIRC,
while Moreland and Pedey stayed on 2B and
1B, respectively. But the O's let it drop,
threw it to 2B, then 1B to force Mitch
and Pedey out; JBJ was out at 1B. At least
that's how it was explained at the time.
