How about giving the Pawtucket Red Sox manager a chance? Pawsox won the
International League Championship so why not?

Terry Francona, easy.

Not Tek--too soon.
Not enchanted with Farrell, but maybe.
Sandy Alomar, Jr., if available.

Tito would be crazy to come back to this snake-pit of
owners--I hope (for his sake) that he doesn't even
consider it.

Good for Bobby, bad for the team.

I know somebody who recently had a discussion with Tito. If he's right,
Francona is nauseated by anything related to the Red Sox right now and says
he wishes he'd never, ever meet another Sox fan or see a logo. (My friend is
fairly reustworth related these things and has met a lot of Sox players, past
and present. He says he was very disappointed in meeting Francona.) A bit
harsh, but obviously it's a very open wound so don't hold your breath.

No. No way would he ever work for THIS group again. And for all their
flaws...the Sox brass are well aware of that. I find it far fetched that he
blames the fans...but the bitterness is certainly understandable.

What fans?
You mean the RSN pot heads, drunks, fags and wife beaters?
Even God hates them !
Move the franchise to Nicaragua, where it belongs!

Before he took the Cleveland post he commented on ESPN that who ever the
next manager is will have a "half full not half empty roster" "You have
Lester, Doubrant, Bucholtz, and Lackey coming back after TJ surgery"......
"I know they don't (fans) want to hear that... but the potential is there
for him come back and be Lackey....remember half full".

I don't think he's as bitter as you think. He had to get away from it.
He's cooled off. He wanted a change and I am sure if you said 2004 or 2007
to him he'd crack a smile or maybe even a wide grin.
