I bet he turns them around.

Good for Tito--it seems like a good fit for both sides.
Best of luck (unless you're playing the Sox).

And now Alomar is available.

The farther up his stock goes, the farther down Boston ownership does as
well.

Let me be the first to start some totally unsubstantiated speculation.

Kevin Youkilis is a Free Agent (The White Sox have said they will not
pick up his option)

Kevin Youkilis is from Ohio (granted Cincinnati and Cleveland are 250
miles apart)

Cleveland had the 2nd lowest production among American League 1B in
2011. (.240/.297/.379/.675)

Cleveland had the 4th lowest production among American League 3B in
2011 ( .254/.303/.374/.677)

Terry Francona doesn't mind if a guy sweats a small puddle in the
dugout between ininings.

Seems like a fit....

I do hope Terry is making the right decision. I don't think I've seen
a more classic case of 'burn-out'.

Sometimes it takes more than a year to recover from that.....sometimes
you never recover.

Stats were for 2012 not 2011.

Of course if he does some will say it was in spite of him not because of
him.

If he gets the players, they'll be fine.

I would not object to bringing him back if he's interested. He might just
prefer to join Tito at this point. Fresh start and all.

He's not a very good player anymore

With 13 games left the White Sox were up by 3.0 games over the
Tigers.

Youkilis had a first hand look at his second team collpse in two
years. He hit .245/.273/.264/.537 in the last 13 games...only 1 RBI.

The Red Sox must do much better than youk.
